HP Pavilian a6230n PC/Windows Vista Home Premium
by rmblnrd - 1/31/09 10:38 PMHelping a close friend with this computer.
Problem is he has forgotten the password to the front screen logon. Also has miss placed the "CD=Drivers"; not done yet, after he bought it. Never registered it with (HP or MSN).
How do I get through this blockade. I have a little computer knowledge; better than a newbie; could really grow more. Help would be appreciated. Thank You

Let's skip to what I use to reset that password.
1. NTPASSWD (see google)
2. On some versions you boot SAFE MODE and the Admin account shows up and you use that to fix the other account password.
