TV Static crackle/pop changn fm SD Dig 2 HD ch. r back rd

Panasonic "TH50PZ85U A" - FiOS HD DVR - Tripp Lite LC1200. I use a humidifier to keep the humidity above 60.

Sometimes I get a static sounding pop and or crackle when changing from SD digital channels to HD or the other way round. My neighbor has heard it too. There was no such problem with the Philips 50' plasma I'm replacing.

Panasonic sent out a tech right away, good Pany Service as expected, but I couldn't reproduce the effect in the very short time he was there. He's coming back next week for something else but I wonder if anyone else has experienced static crackle or pops in other TVs or systems. I've heard it happens on numerous brands.
