Customizable MS Project alternative?

by prazim - 1/28/09 11:35 AM

Hi,
I need a tool for project management but need to be able to customize various features, including the default font. Can you recommend one? Open Source is preferable.
Thanks!
Sue

The system we used years ago was in the 6 figure range.

This is for a small business and I am looking for something comparable to MS project for less $$$, or open source.

What cost was the support and such.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=open+source+project+management finds such. But unless you have programming staff, it costs to make your changes.

-> But back to MS Project. Fonts can be changed almost everywhere. Surely this is not what would condemn a project software to the dust bin.

I'm using an open source tool

I was simply inquiring regarding other available tools. I've already searched using Google and was seeking a tool that might not otherwise have come to my attention.

free alternative to ms project

hi,

like others have stated here, open source might be too technical and expensive for you to handle unless you can handle it yourself. however, there are non-open source alternatives that wont burn a hole in your pocket - check out basecamp (limited free), huddle or remindo.com (completely free)

Cheers!
