I am at a crossroads.I need help in choosing an lcd "viewing mechanism"
I would be using it to watch SD tv, hook up my pc and watch hd using bluray. I do not need an OTA tuner but since ldc tv's are getting cheaper, I won't mind having it. Which one is better to view all these sources? LCD TV with less pixels or lcd monitor with more pixels (but not necesarry any better). Also, which size is best between 24 and 32 inches? I've been looking at these lcd tv's and I need your assistance in choosing one or any other that would best fit my requirements:
Samsung SyncMaster T2*0HD
Samsung LN32A550(450)
Vizio VO32L
All helpful replies will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Your situation may change and you'll regret it if you don't.
BUMP
Does that work?
Unless you are going to watch TV with Rabbit Ears or simply watch Basic Cable (where you need a tuner), then a TV with a tuner isn't necessary. I have 4 TVs in the house, each with a cable box, and the built-in tuner is never used. I have one TV in the kitchen where I don't have a cable box, and I do use the TV's tuner to get basic cable stations 2 thru 125. Bottom line, if you watch TV with a cable or satellite box, you don't need a tuner. A Monitor will be fine if you do use a cable or satellite box provided it has built-in speakers, which some Monitors do not.
