Hello,

You know I was kinda wondering the same thing a couple of days ago.I wanted to convert some videos from a movie series and put them on my phone so I could watch them.I would prefer to use something that is also easy to use, besides the good quality. But there are so many on the market these days that I don't know from where to start trying.

Tunebite for 3GP conversion

by rufus_256 - 1/25/09 3:28 AM In reply to: looking for better video convertor(3gp) by linuxgroups

Hey,

You can take a look at Tunebite. It does very good 3GP conversion. In fact, many mobile phones formats are supported besides other common audio and video formats, and, something that I liked, is that you get a nice overview of available formats, according to phones :). It's quite good.

I think the guy above you already said that it works on common audio and video formats,so it's not only for mobile phones formats.

3GP is a high compressed video format. It's hard to make it looks as good as avi or mp4.

Though, with a good video converter you may get a slightly better quality.
