My Samsung television -- Model No. LN46A650A1F ; Version: SQ01; Model code: LN46A650A1FXZA -- randomly shuts off for 10 seconds and then turns on again on it's own. It happens throughout my tv watching, after it's been on for 10 minutes AND after it's been on for 3 hours
Any suggestions?

For this issue, I'd definitely recommend getting your unit serviced. I'm not sure why that's happening, and while there are several theories, I'd recommend calling 800-SAMSUNG and getting your unit inspected by a technician.

Solved by firmware upgrade- go to samsung-support-downloads-enter model#
download firmware upgrade to usb flash drive-unzip- plug drive into tv- push menu button scroll down
to upgrade --do not turn off tv or remove drive untill upgrade is finished
Your post was dated 1/22/09--I thought everyone had fixed this-I own this tv too
