Wireless solution for TV and Blu-Ray player?

Hi

I recently got a Samsung 40 inch LCD650 TV and the Sony Blur Ray S350 player. Both devices come with Ethernet jacks for Internet connection. However, my High Speed modem is another room. There are wired options for me to connect the devices. So can I connect them wirelessly? I am running a wireless network. Do I get a USB wireless dongle for each device? Or is there something else I need to be looking at? Also has anyone had actual experience hooking up their devices wirelessly? Is it slow, fast?
