HP Dual TV Tuner w/o media center?

I got a HP Dual TV Tuner a few years ago when I got a HP laptop with Windows Media Center. It used to work fine, but I no longer use that pc and was wondering if I can hook up that tuner to my new laptop with XP on it. Anyone know if this is possible or can point me to steps to accomplish this?
