NEED HELP WITH ADOBE FLASH PLAYER WITH WINDOWS VISTA

by schighway101 - 3/20/07 4:07 AM

I can't get nor run Adobe Flash Player with Windows Visa. All I get at the download site is a bar circling say flash player installed successfully...NOT. Windows finds install flash player in Windows pre-fetch, plus one other file. Why is this? Anyway my flash to run on MLB.TV doesn't go. Is useless to have this if no flash player. I am discussed in SC help please!

Adobe Flash Player on Vista & IE & Firefox does not work

by marksatterfield - 4/15/09 10:12 AM In reply to: NEED HELP WITH ADOBE FLASH PLAYER WITH WINDOWS VISTA by schighway101

Hi all,

I am having trouble keeping Flash installed on Vista with both IE & Firefox.

* If Flash is installed, it works fine (tested with YouTube) during that particular session.

* Once I reboot the system, Flash goes away, and a reinstallation is required. Every single time.

* IE & Firefox Flash work if the web browser is run in "Administrator" mode -- otherwise, will not work.

So, the installation is valid, but somehow something gets corrupted during the reboot.

Any ideas?

Your post in this forum is unlikely to attract many replies, because the forum is intended for responses to questions raised in CNET's Community Help & Howto Newsletters. The link below will show you what I mean;

Your best bet is to navigate to one of CNET's other forums, perhaps the Vista forum or the Computer Help forum. I know you have been to that latter one before so you should be able to find your way around.

Just a note though. I've already deleted a couple of your forum posts because of the signature line link to your own web site. Sorry, but self-promotion is not permitted in these forums. I didn't delete this one because you asked a question. However you will see I had the link edited out.

I hope that helps.

Mark
