Computer won't read external hard drive
by squeekyfoot - 12/30/08 6:53 AMI've been using my Western Digital external hard drive for months. Most of the time I have to disconnect and reconnect for my computer to recognize it. Now that doesn't work. I'm running Windows XP, have McAfee security, other then that I haven't downloaded anything except Mozilla Firefox, but can't see why that would affect anything. I use an eSata card.
