I am looking for someone with a long memory!
Some years ago (late 90's to early 2000's) I had a scanner program that allowed for the correction of blemishes, cracks, creases, and fading etc, during the scanning process. A MVA has left me without much of a memory, and I cannot identify what it could have been, nor can I locate anything on the net. It would have come with a scanner, and all I can find records of owning are Plustek and Epson. I thought that it was either an Arcsoft or Epson program, but Epson can't recall anything and I have gone through my Photo Impression discs and found nothing. Any ideas?
PhotoImpression does have image correction options, including automatic color correction and red eye reduction, but you're thinking of Epson Easy Photo Fix, which is a feature of the Epson print driver. It is only available for Epson scanners, but appears as an option automatically whenever you scan an image/document, provided you have not checked the 'do not show me this again' option previously.
Hope this helps,
John
