The very short version is you have to track down XP drivers, then format the system, reinstall XP. Of course on plenty of newer systems, especially lower end ones, XP drivers may or may not exist making it impossible to install XP in any sort of workable way.

I have to tell you that the time spent in my case i could have bought 3 new puters with Xp already on them however; if you are looking for a very intensive project this would be a good one...

It will prompt your Windows XP, then you need to reformat the disc's partition so you can install XP on it.. That's how I do it.
