help with business card template

by giongulas - 11/11/08 2:00 AM

Hi,
I created a business card using one of the MS Word 2003 templates that came with Word, but after I customized it to my liking, I don't know how to make the rest of the page look like the one card that I made.
There's 10 business cards on the page, and I fiddled with the one on the top right corner, and now I don't know how to make the other 9 look like mine :( Looked everywhere inside Help and searched free tutorials online, but noone talks about such an obscure subject.

Any ideas?

Copy/Paste won't work as I can't select the card as a whole, only the different text boxes that came as part of the template. I tried copying the card, but I either get just one box, or maybe the whole page, and that won't do me no good. I even tried to copy/paste one box at a time, to each of the 10 cards on the page, but there's a picture involved and it's a tediou process of trying to get everything in the right place

I cheated.

I viewed the card almost full screen. Then I tapped Print Screen

Now in MSPaint I pasted the image and cropped it. I saved the image and then returned to Word.

In word I inserted the image and made them the size and as many as I wanted.

Done,
Bob

Word supports grouping of elements. Hold shift and click each element like the background and text-boxes then right click and click group.

Otherwise there's many tools that automatically copy the business card many times into a pdf like this one http://www.thinkstationery.com/tools/make-your-own-business-cards/

Yep, that's how I would have done it.

Group the elements together.
