I am need of help with my Zune. I broke down and got one but it is going to get returned if I can't figure this out. For some reason when I go to make a playlist from one of my music folders half the music files don't show up and they won't load on to the player. The weird thing is that sometimes if I change the name of the folder some of the songs will show up. I don't understand this and I am so use to the ease of my creatize player that this is just way too much hassle can anyone help me.-M
Try loading the music on the zune first and then creating the playlist using the zune software.
I never had any issues that way.
Also ensure that the songs are tagged properly and that they are the correct format.
I realized when I was trying to sync some of my music that I had some older songs that were still in .wav format.
I found out through customer service and where I got it that this is a software issue that does happen for whatever reason. I ended up returning the player and got something else that was less of a hassle. Maybe when they can make better software I will try purchasing a zune again.
Just get an ipod, the download of itunes is free and they are sooooooooooooooooooooo coooooooooooooooooooool too kool for skool
I have all my music in wav. files stored neatly in about 200 windows folders. Each folder is the size of one Cd. I bought a ZUNE 120 to play my files. The ZUNE will only show albums and songs etc. everything but not file folders. You cannot copy your windows folders to ZUNE. You must make a brand new playlist for each file folder you have, and then copy each song one at a time into the new playlist. I would have to make up 200 new playlists. Ok, I have 1700 songs and I would also have to write them all down on paper to keep track of them, so I can copy them in the same order. I also noticed that songs with information lacking where not copied over to ZUNE. I took my laptop into the large chain store where I purchased the ZUNE. Three technicians each came over to diagnose the problem. They all came to the same conclusion. Coping windows folders to Microsoft ZUNE cannot be done! For that I would need an iPod to do the job, or perhaps a CREATIVE product. Score: iPod 100, ZUNE 0. The other features don’t matter. The full refund was no problem. The richest man in the world isn’t always the smartest.
