gets 15 Meg down and about one meg up.

Better for you? Only you can tell. As far as changing emails, just send out a blanket email to everyone in your address book with the new address. Or at least to people you like.

About 6 months ago, I started DSL services by netzero.

From day one I was have service cuts off on me regularly. I complained to netzero tech support and they tell me it was a EMI problem and have filter installation check and other usual lists of stuffs. Anyway the bad service wasn't good but I was able to tolerated it and I was going to leave netzero DSL when my contract period end. Now I guess I will stick with them. It isn't so bad after all, hehe.

Go with cable. When you switch your email, go with a non-ISP specific provider such as Gmail. That way you won't have to change your email address just because you change ISP's.
