How can I play Xbox360 on my pc with Dell Angel USB tv tuner

by Panther008 - 11/19/08 8:35 AM

I have a "Dell Angel USB Tv Tuner"(Photo of what it looks like: http://www.pacificgeek.com/productimages/xl/M9499.jpg) and a 3.06Ghz iMac (running Win XP and OS X 10.5.5) and a Xbox 360.

Is there any way for me to use the iMac as a big screen to play my 360 on?

I tried plugging a Nintendo Wii into the Red/White/Yellow ports and connected the tv tuner on my Vista laptop, and I couldn't get a picture in Media Center.

Idea... only an idea...

Aside from the fact that this doesn't sound like a good idea to me simply because the delay between your 360 and computer monitor would probably be slightly longer than any gamer can consider reasonable, I'll give my input.

Here's the FAQ:

After reading that, the only thing I can think of is that you didn't scan for a signal. I know that whenever I connect a different device to my TV Tuner (an AverMedia variant) I have to rescan for a signal, otherwise it won't be picked up.
