Hmmm... well, it isn't an iPhone

... that can offer lossless audio quality, but it does offer the ability to be fully functional - internet, text messengering, etc. - without paying for the extra smart phone package that AT&T forces onto its' PDA/smart phone users. It is a shame AT&T has yet to offer a simply everything plan at the same price that Sprint does. $99 bucks a month versus $135 is a substantial difference when tallied up over a two year contract.

Of course, since it is a Sony product, it owners have their own extra expenses that only Sony users must pay for. The most glaring example is the expensive M2 memory stick cards you have to buy. A micro SD card will be going as low as $20.00 US in retail stores this holiday season for a 4 gig card. Memory Sticks will be much more expensive.

Still, for an older phone (14 months since its' release?) it is not a bad choice. Anyone looking for a good phone that offers nice music features... the sony erickson is not a bad choice.

Me? I use a Tracfone phone since I almost always have my laptop with me, wifi is available almost everywhere I go, and I use Skype or IM for the most part. My phone cost me $17.00 US to buy, and $100 a year for 800 minutes and a years service. It also works everywhere across the country, even in places that the AT&T phone won't... because Tracfone has universal roaming across the country. AT&T phones don't roam at all, as far as I know.
