I just finished reading an article from gizmodo that says some users are experiencing loss of sound with HDMI connected xbox360's after the NXE upgrade. Has anyone hit it and with which type of system?
I just bought the xbox 2 weeks ago and then upgraded last night. I didn't have any problems yet, but now I'm sorta regretting in doing an upgrade so fast and not waiting for everyone else to go through the initial burn in process.
No problems here (but I am connected via component so I haven;t checked the HDMI yet).
So far Netflix has worked extremely well. My big issue is the lack of good content and that the HD streams often downgrade mid-program. My connection is as fast as you're going to get this side of FIOS (10-12 Mbps down) so I am pretty sure this a a server side issue on the Netflix end.
Now if they could just get some more content that people actually want to watch. The novelty of playing around with the service with 10 year old documentaries and old bargain bin movies will quickly wear off and I think people will quickly realize that in spite of there being "10,000 titles" very few of those 10,000 titles are anything you've ever heard of.
I know its an uphill battle to get the studios on board because they all want to play chess with their content but Netflix has definitely got a good system here if they can just cut some deals.
