It seems you can get netbooks with large HDD and adequate RAM but the processor speeds seem quite slow compared to most contemporary laptops and desktops.
I'm thinking of getting a netbook for my wife. She would use it mostly to surf the web, use Facebook and check her Gmail. However, she does have a video iPod. I want to be sure she will be able run the iTunes application without freezing up the OS (or even significantly slowing it down - she has zero patience for that sort of thing).
Has anyone used iTunes on a netbook yet?
Thanks.
I'm comparing them to Pentium 3 speed. So if speed is an issue you don't want it.
Yah at around 533 MHz that is what I was afraid of. I have a friend who can get an employ price on a Thinkpad. Guess I'll stick to that plan.
