We are video conferencing, or if video calling is more correct, between us and our daughter using Messenger. Now we want to add 2 more members, thus a circle of 4. Skype is no more than messenger - also linited to one on one - correct? I have seen words about SightSpeed and it seem to be a good choice. It cost $5/mo but I don't know if it is possible to do 4 way for free? Any tips, suggestions on what to use will be appreciated.
then don't give up on it yet.
I don't use it nor do I video conference, but I see that there are a couple of Skype addons that allow multiple video conferencing; eg;

There's also some suggestions at the Skype Community forum here;

Does that help?
Googling Skype multiple video conference may display more options.

Mark,
that was a lot of evolution over the last couple of years. I don't see any definite outcome.
If anyone is using Skype video conferencing for multiple participants or any other program, I would like to hear from you if you have any good experience to share. Wigi apparently is something that can do with Skype?
I have heard of Sightspeed, which cost $5/mo.
Thanks,
Bert
PS Perhaps there is a better Forum for this. If so......
Hi
I use oovoo for communicating with my daughter. It allows up to 3 ways conferencing, recording, etc and all for free. It's done a good job for me up to date. You can get the paid for service which allows up to 6 way conferences but I think it's just US and Canada - $15 per month. I dowloaded the software from download.com.
I have installed fully integrated audio visual & video installation for Video Conferencing by CCOMM with my family. Its awesome one. High quality & no much cost. Cheers!!
Thank you for that information. If ooVoo doest'n work out I will try it. I assume you have no been comparing the two.
Thanks - Bert
You can read the list and review of video conference service here:

Primarily, while choosing try to go for the easiest and reliable option. Considering your daughter might not be to technical savvy a web based solution might just works best for you.
