I just recently purchased a FUJIFILM FINEPIX S1000 digital camera and have a question about the memory card.
If I hook the camera to the computer will I be able to access and print the pictures on the memory card????
After years of failures of USB to camera connections I no longer try such a thing. I take the memory card out of the camera and put in my card reader.

.
I've used a few from http://www.geeks.com/products.asp?Cat=FLM
The 3.50 one at http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=5IN1-CARDREADER&cat=FLM is one I can vet that cards from 16 megabyte to 4 gigabyte work fine on Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

Thanks for the info!!!!
Its greatly appreciated!!!!
Yes you can hook up the camera via USB to access the memory card and I have never had any problems doing that. If you have a laptop, you may have a built-in memory card reader already.
Thanks!!!! Your reply is greatly appreciated!!!!
I'll see how that works!!!!
Check your printer. If it is PictBridge compatible, you can print directly to the printer without the need for the PC.
Also many (newer) printers also have a memory card slot that will allow you to print from the card (again without the PC)
