I posted a comment on the Automotive site here at cnet and it never showed up. Generally how long does it take for a comment to show? Is it possible they just didn't want to post it and trashcanned it instead?

This post?

So instead of improving on the current technology that is still in demand (unlike what you believe to be true) we should abandon anything that isn't a tiny commuter car. So anyone that needs a large high volume capacity vehicle, a vehicle that needs to cary 6+ passengers, a construction company vehicle, an RV conversion chassis, a large fullsize 4 door sedan, a mid size SUV or Crossover or anything else that isn't a small commuter car...........should just walk. That is logical.
Don't forget to tell Toyota, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Diamler Benz, Mitsubishi , Volkswagen ,Ford or any other manufacturer that has a use of a High torque, high horse power, fuel efficient powerplant to "forget it" because you said nobody want something like that.
Brilliant observation.

I commend GM for continuing to make great strides in fuel efficiancy and building ever improving on the quality of their product ten fold from even 5 years past product. The sooner the general public realises this and stops buying foreign makes because the are told to and really go and see the difference for themselves with an OPENED MIND the sooner the economy will start correcting itsself. Buy American, support American workers, Keep their jobs< keep your job, people have money to purchase products, more need to be made and sold, jobs are kept.........and so the cycle goes. Think about it.

Yes that is it.

I suppost it is too opinionated and not enough on subject. I just feel the comment by the first person was off color, un thoughtful and blaitantly opinionated agenst an american product that needed to be developed in my opinion. I think there are too many people out there not supporting our products because of past failures instead of current product performance and quality. Then buy the cheapes korean/ china built products without a thought.
but like I said.......thats just my opinion.

it's possible (and this is my opinion only) that posts to that forum are put in a "queue" and 'vetted' for content/subject matter before being posted 'real time'

hope this helps

I thought that too.....

However, I cut and pasted the post (from here) and posted it in the same place in the car tech section (same as before) but edited it myself by taking a few phrases out and made it focus on the topic not the idiotic post by the first reader. It went on immediately!?
Strange but I was able to voice my opinion so I am happy. I hope people take it into concideration.
