To 3G iPhone users, don't forget to pick up the new adapter

Probably not a big deal to most on the forum who don't own a 3G iPhone, but for those who do/bought a new iphone/ipod charger adapter, Apple stores finally have the newly updated and repaired adapter for exchange.

I never saw a problem my adapters, but according to Apple, under the right conditions, the prongs on the adapter could snap off and stay stuck inside the power socket...very bad!

Anyhows, the exchange went a lot quicker and simpler than how Apple made it sound. I went to the local Apple store with 2 adapters(mine's and my wife's) and was ready to go through the whole "here are own iphone serial #s" routine. Instead, the lady in front politely took the adapters, chucked them into a bag and then gave me the 2 new adapters with the free sticker. She didn't even ask to record the serial #s from our phones. Sweet!

Anyhows, compared to the laptop event, not really newsworthy, but thought I'd send a reminder out to get those adapters changed out. Later!
