What's the best internet service out there now?

by reeltime - 10/4/08 12:02 PM

Is satellite the way to go? Cable? DSL?

I've had DSL and it's 256kps.. not impressive with AT&T. I live in Los Angeles. Anyone? What are you using and what's successful?

Thanks!

Best broadband services might be cable.

From what I understand...satellite is very expensive. I have netzero dsl, but it's not very reliable (I am in the L.A. area also). I also have verizon dsl here also but it's more expensive than netzero. I might give them a try when my commitment with netzero is over. I would like to try cable but I have a little dispute with their accounting department (it was their screwup all the way).

I sometime get the feeling that netzero maybe leasing the line from verizon; so if I get verizon I would end up getting the same unreliable services.
