Noticed this on a blog at
http://blog.trustedid.com/?p=667
"Vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s private Yahoo e-mail account was hacked, and some of its contents were posted on the Internet.
A group of hackers, known as Anonymous, took credit for the intrusion, and published screenshots of e-mail messages and photos belonging to Palin on WikiLeaks."
It's almost funny, but I wonder if you can call a group that calls itself "Anonymous" a "group" per se? Is this the same "anonymous" that "anonymously" frequents the big 4chan messageboards?
Any news already on who did it? Are the rumours about a certain guy already confirmed? Is he arrested? Is he convicted?
I didn't follow the details last week, but I'm sure you did. Can you tell us?
Kees
No indictment forthcoming. Investigation continues.
What's interesting is that they actually got proof of the hacking, as well as having a group member actually contact the victim. Maybe we’ll get an election edition of CSI where Horatio puts on his glasses and puts away a computer nerd.
