How about the Mazda RX7 between 1988-2002. Those are some really nice cars.

I never did like the prelude for some reason, its a turn off to me.

The third and final generation of the RX-7, FD (with FD3S for the JDM and JM1FD for the USA VIN), was an outright, no-compromise sports car by Japanese standards. It featured an aerodynamic, futuristic-looking body design (a testament to its near 11-year lifespan). The 13B-REW was the first-ever mass-produced sequential twin-turbocharger system to export from Japan, boosting power to 255 PS (188 kW/252 hp) in 1993 and finally 280 PS (206 kW/276 hp) by the time production ended in Japan in 2002.

You can get well over 400bhp with this car. And if you wanted to go all out 500bhp with nos is a demon. This is the next car i will get after i finish working on the Volvo.

Now depending where your at it will be hard to fine a 99-02 model as it was not sent here. However I seen a few in nyc so you might be able to find one for sale. The 96-98 version is what you should look for. The RX8 is the new kid on the block but the best ones are the most recent releases and the 2010 version of the RX8 will be .....HOT!!!!!

Wanna see my real dream car.

This is the car you should be driving?

You can look for a 98-04 model. And maybe for a little more 05 model would be the sweet spot.

Post 25 of 33

heard they were good round here

by clestreetteam - 9/27/08 4:48 PM In reply to: WRX by Datcyde

there great haveing awd but i want somethin a little more towards raceing style but i bet the awd really hooks up well soooooooo ................... i really dont know. what the difference between wrx and wrx sti

by clestreetteam - 9/27/08 5:04 PM In reply to: heard they were good round here by clestreetteam

a lil outof my price range and i gotta run turbo gas and has a higher compression than prelude which means a turbo would be a waste. the prelude runs 10:1 the wrx runs 11:1 dont sound like much butit is i mite just steal my sisters grand am i the winter hehehe. but its a great idea maby when im older

AWD

by Datcyde - 9/27/08 5:27 PM In reply to: thanks by clestreetteam

Is good for racing. You can't drift with AWD but you don't need to. As we both live in the north I prefer AWD then anything else. You can also look at the EVO. The Sti version is a higher version of the car but I believe its out of your price range. But you can mod it to a Sti. I would recommend my car but its out of your range as well. I have no other idea on a car. So the ball is in your court now. So just pick one.

EVO

by clestreetteam - 9/27/08 6:29 PM In reply to: AWD by Datcyde

THE EVO IS WAY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE BUT NO OFFENSE BUT THERE A LIL OVER RATED AND 4DR SO IF I GO SOME WHERE ALL MY FRIENDS GOTTA COME WHICH IS TOTAL BULL BUT THE PRELUDE IS STILL KICKIN IN MY HEAD. GOOD ON INSURANCE. QUEIT. GOOD HORSEPOWER . EASLY MODDED, CHEAP PARTS AND FWD I WISH THEY MADE AWD BUT I MIGHT GET THE 2001 PRELUDE SH WITH ATTS 'SH= SUPER HANDELING' . IT LOOK PRETTY GOOD EXCEPT THE HEAD LIGHTS BUT KNOW 1 ELSE COMPLAINS SO I GUESS ITS JUST ME BUT WHAT CAN I SAY YA KNO. ANY MORE OPTIONS HOLLA AT. CLEVELAND STREET TEAM!!! WHERE U LIVE

PRELUDE????

by Datcyde - 9/27/08 7:16 PM In reply to: EVO by clestreetteam

Then why not a civic or accord?

Post 30 of 33

civic look bad

by clestreetteam - 9/27/08 9:40 PM In reply to: PRELUDE???? by Datcyde

civic look bad when stock and im doin performance before looks keep it a nice sleepper but im worried about road noise its like 5 out of 10 on reviews . but the 99 eclipse is 3and there really no 2 bad. the civics dont got much power and accord a lil expensive and look like crap stock...... but much better on gas , but plan 2 turbo so if premium is for prelude it doesnt really matter that the first thing im buying but ill see what i finddddd WHERE U LIV the prelude looks good stock and haas 205 hp 157 ft torque 24 28 mpg on prem but like i said i plan 2 turbo and it has 10 to 1 compression ratio that perfect 4 t 30 at 15 psi boost ; )
