Does anyonr have any helpful tips? im just planning to move parts of an gateway fx 7020 into a apevia x-crusier case. will i encounter any problems or will it just be just as simple as plugging everything in?
thanks
I've done it several times. Just make sure your HD and optical drive cables will reach. Also, take note of any external USB ports.
also make sure that your ram drives are compatable ith you pc because there is alot of different ram drives like DDR, DDR2, DDR3 and some other ones.
That's only an issue if the "parts of" include the mobo but not the RAM or - just the opposite - the RAM but not the mobo. If the OP moves both, there won't be a problem.
But maybe he only meant the floppy drive, the CD-drive and the video card. That could very well work without any issue.
