by rmhoutz - 9/6/08 3:56 PMThe problem i'm having is my Realtek HD Audio Driver after installing the driver my audio works great. But if I shut my computer completely down it's like it was never installed. Just like it never modified the registry just put it all in ram. I cam put the machine to sleep and it will wake up and work just fine only when shut down. The OS I'm using is Vista Home Premium 64 bit I have downloaded all the updates they have and the driver is the most up to date driver that ASUS has for the integrated sound card. Can anybody help.
Make this a warranty issue.

If you feel the driver is buggy, just make it a warranty issue. I've installed Windows for years and once in awhile you run into this sort of issue and you get to change the board.
