I went cheap on my second digital and spent $60 on a Polaroid i634. It has more pixels than the Sony I had for under 3 years (but the darn thing broke. The shutter mechanism is a weak link I think.) So far I am happy with the Polaroid for what I need it for; basic pictures and small videos.
Software that came with camera never worked. Why does Canon out rate Sony?
just recently bought a nikon d80. although there are many things that i like about it including great focus and viewfinder, i am not at all impressed with the color rendition that everyone is bragging about. also i have found myself spending a considerable amount of time in post-processing. either the photos are under-exposed or something else. i have the 18-200 lens and you have to watch out for shadows at the wide angle shots.i had a fuji s6000fd previously and i thought this was a definite step up but i'm having serious doubts now. that s6000 had excellent colors and puts this d80 to shame. of course it had some other shortfalls too. i'm not sure what to do with this d80 but am considering selling it and keeping my fuji. i would have to say that overall i am quite disappointed with the d80 especially after all the favorable reviews.
