Two issues with the new Buzz Report:
1. A/V not in sync.
2. Won't play on my 5G iPod Video
Like the new intro graphic, though I want the old sound back.
I'll echo Hiedran's post...though I had a few more problems with it. As it starts in iTunes (like the new graphic), the screen starts flashing wildly, then finally crashes my Mac. It happened once, but being determined to watch the Buzz Report, and figuring it was a fluke (since my Mac has frozen (to the point of crashing the whole OS and forcing a reboot) exactly four times in 14 months prior to this...this was number 5) I went right back to the Buzz Report in iTunes. Upon playing it, same result. Crash number 6.
Not sure if others are experiencing this, but I settled for watching it on streaming. Love the Buzz Report, though. What happened to this release?

I too noticed the audio and video out of sync. And I can't play it on my iPod Touch either. Anyway, we can't play them on our iPods because the video is in HD. Take a look at the download size and it's way bigger than normal. And also take a look at the video dimensions and they are out of the playable dimensions for the any of the iPods. If you download CNET Live, it's 362 MB for the slightly less than half hour show. Hopefully this is just a temporary problem and CNET will make its video podcast downloads in several formats. As aTales noted in the other thread, Revision3 does this.
itunes will not download it to apple tv.
Kinda Love the Show, when i can see it!

Same problem here with Apple TV and iPhone. Even on my Mac, the video had really bad artifacts whenever there was motion.
Uninstall and reinstall I did and it worked with it but it wasn't working with C-Net live at all I don't get it so if that doesn't work email Jason and yell at him.
Is to e-mail the customer help center with your complaints/issues. The issue with getting CNET Live and Buzz Report to sync with the various iPods (not sure about Apple TV) is due to videos being in HD 1280 x 720, too much for iPhone/Touch/Classic, etc. You can right click on the file within iTunes to convert to iPod/iPhone or Apple TV, but it may take a long time for CNET Live and probably not worth the effort.
Monday is a holiday in the United States, so if you do any e-mailing, you will probably get a "we are observing Labor Day" message. So nothing will happen until at least Tuesday. It's not so much that the videos need fixing (they look pretty good on my computer), it is just that they need to offer several versions of them (small quicktime, large quicktime, HD) similar to what Revision 3 offers.
Last week Buzz Report wouldn't sync to my iPhone or AppleTV, now Mailbag has the same problem. What gives? Hmmm, didn't this start happening the same week as the redesign of the website? Are we destined to lose the the CNET we grew to love now that they're all grown up and part of CBS?
We are aware of the download issue. Unfortunately, we're working to resolve it quickly but it's taking longer than we had hoped.
Sorry gang! I promise CNET video will return to normal. That'll turn your
into an
. (I hope)
wow, should have been fixed by now. can you please repost the broken video podcasts from the other shows? if you need extra help any high school tv media tech student could do it. sigh, love the shows when i can watch it.
but just to be careful--all the previous posts are from Apple worlds (iPhone, Apple TV). This is broken on my Zen Vision:M as well--have had to delete the last couple of episodes as unwatchable--both Live and Report--dropped video, out of synch, even what sort of looks like sudden fast forwarding.
