Panasonic DMC-FZ28
by kylelane - 8/29/08 11:55 AMAnybody get one? I've seen reviews from England and Australia that rate this new camera very highly. I'm still unable to find state side reviews (hoping for a Cnet one in the near future), but I know that it's already on sale at companies such as Vann's.
Pluses include...
Low lens distortion in telephoto
18x zoom
HD video with zoom capability
One critique is mediocre color saturation.

Look up the Nikon d90.

The D90 is definitely a great camera, but it's in a a different class than the Panasonic. I'm specifically looking for a mid-price option that is decent and not as bulky as a dSLR. The D90 is $900. The Panasonic is around $350....thus my interest in the DMC-FZ28.
