I am looking for DreamWeaker like programs that are on the inexpensive side or even free.
I created a website for a small business, and now that I have moved about 1500 miles away, I would like to have them be able to make simple edits to the site themselves. I will still be doing any and all major design changes, but I need them to be able to change things like office hours, add any important announcements, and simple things like that.
I was thinking about having them buy a copy of DreamWeaver, since the last time I used it (before Adobe took over Macromedia) I remember it being largely what I wanted. You could see edits to the HTML code reflected in real time, and even if you only used the graphical editor, it did a good job of respecting hand written code. I see now Adobe wants $400 for a single license, and that's just out of the question for this small business unless it comes on a 24k solid gold CD or something.
So, I am looking for other similar options that are preferably $100US or less, free being the ideal. Basic requirements are graphical AND HTML editing modes, and that the program shouldn't overwrite a nice hand written page with a bunch of extra garbage like graphical web page creators are notorious for.
you set it up where they can change it online with a regular WYSIWYG editor. It would cost nothing put time to setup / integrate.

Notepad.exe
Or, you could set up a simple web CMS interface.
