I sometimes use uTorrent to download videos from Minova or Isohunt and usually it automatically and quickly goes straight into Miro as I press download. This is much faster with Miro, and I can watch its download progress. However, ever since I updated my Frostwire, the dialogue box appears with an empty/blank icon, saying its a Frostwire torrent, so nothing is there. Now, even though I've uninstalled Frostwire to stop it interferring, its still the same. How do I get it back the way it was??
Sorry, but unless you can somehow prove that the files you're downloading are not copyrighted, and thus not illegal, you're not going to find any help here.
I will say that you should consider your actions carefully, because there could be legal repercussions for using P2P programs. They ARE being monitored by groups like the RIAA and MPAA, and lawsuits ARE being issued to people caught illegally sharing files on these programs.
Beyond most of the content being illegal, most of the content is also virus and/or malware laden. Sometimes the programs themselves contain some kind of spyware payload.
So there are numerous reasons why you probably want to stop downloading these things.
Anyway, as said, unless you can show that the files you're downloading are not copyrighted, or that the copyright holder has given their blessing to them being distributed on P2P networks, it's against forum rules to help you.
