BlackBerry Question....Please Help!!!
by Stkxppro - 8/2/08 7:21 AMHello...My friend offered me a BlackBerry 8320 with WiFi and I do not have a SIM card. Could I use the BlackBerry 8320 as just a WiFi device without any cell connection. I would not be using this to make calls or anything anyways.

I have the modem feature on my Blackberry and it works quite well but I also have all the cell features activated.

I haven't had many phones yet that wouldn't let you access built in features just because they lacked a SIM card, and those that didn't, I could just put in a non activated SIM card and they would work.

It probably won't let you make calls, but it's an option, and, if you're not making calls anyway, possibly the best without buying a plan.
