What would you rather buy? Blackberry Pearl 8100 or Rokr E8?

by BARR3RA - 7/31/08 6:08 PM

My birthday is coming up, and I'm getting a cell phone. I can get these phones for the same price ($99), but what's better? Yes, the Blackberry has more features, but I don't think I'm going to be using E-mail, internet, and etc. On the other hand, ROKR E8 looks sleek and stylish. It has features I'd use like music, camera, and obviously the phone. So yeah I need suggestions.

You can get most of the features of the ROKR in the BB, and I'm not buying another Motorola phone for quite some time. Both my brother and I have had bad experiences with MOTO phones (5 phones between us).

It seems like a better phone, and Moto has abyssmal customer service (the voice of experience). Plus, you can sort of dial by feel on the BB, but the E8's keys are as flat as can be.

I have had nothing but great experiences with my Rokr e8. If you don't need the features of the blackberry, get the Rokr

I had a blackberry pearl 8110 and it was a great phone, when i transfered my service to t-mobile i decided to get the Motorokr E8 which i have not received yet. I think the rokr e8 will be a better phone for me because I was not going to use most of the features with the BB. It really depends on the features you desire.
