If you came to CNET and were treated to a preview of the new beta site like I was you'll notice they pulled the plug on the msic part of download.com. At least I can't find it anymore. Its a sad day I think. What else will CBS pull the plug on?.....

HUH I didn't know that they had one but I don't come to CNET for music at all.
You will see something called "Free MP3 of the day," which is from CNET's music site. There is also a CNET podcast called Music Sessions from Studio C.
music.download.com isn't gone, as someone already pointed out and I know since early this year the plan has been to combine operations with the MP3.com folks (also a CNET property).
So debate the merits and such of that, but it was planned long before CBS came along.
