It appears that Apple is not supporting firefox on linux with their MobileMe product. Funny thing is that if I use a nice little plugin called "User Agent"(Thanks Chris Pederick!!!) on my Ubuntu box then I can spoof mobile me and tell it I am running firefox on windows. And low and behold Mobile Me works just fine. Please ask publicly why(especially when their own os is based on open source) would they intentionally block linux and open source users from this service? You would think they would make open source first on their list(especially since it is so similar to their BSD core. And probably easy to port to).
Another humorous thing is that their support has told me that you cannot use an iPhone to register for the mobile me product(which is made for the iphone)... Hmmm
Microsoft doesn't support it either in many of their products. Maybe you should try Linux?
