Hp battery replacement -different watt hours

by marsdta - 7/30/08 9:05 PM

hello well heres my situation. My current battery is about to bite the dust and i will be replacing it pretty soon but was confused about something. I looked up the battery via the replacement part number on my current battery. The only difference i saw was the Watt hours. my current states 47Wh but the replacement states 43Wh. (both are 10.8V)

The Hp rep told me that the replacement battery was the correct one for my model laptop dv2000t cto.

So my questions is will is see a difference in battery runtime, or should i try and find one that is also 47Wh

Could be they are being honest.

The measurement could be spot on and the only battery was like the MPG values. I wouldn't give this much thought and move forward.
