word 07 cursor options

I'm using Microsoft word 2007, and I'm being driven crazy by the cursor. I hate the way it flashes all the time, even when you're typing. In most programs, the cursor stays solid when you're typing, but not in word 07. It's just a little thing, but it's very, very annoying to me.
Can I change it anywhere?

"Applications should respect the blink time chosen by the user. The SetCaretBlinkTime function should only be called by an application that allows the user to set the blink time."
I don't see where MS exposed this setting. You'll likely be calling this in.
