i dont think dos has been in windows since xp. it was replaced with cmd / command prompt. in vista if you got start > accessories > command prompt (right click and run it as admin)

That is what I meant, command prompt. I still run qbasic and I was wondering if I could still drop down into the c prompt and run qbasic.

before you run command prompt right click on it and click " RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR"

Maybe it is because i tested it on 64 bit Vista but I can get to the command prompt but I can not do a full screen like I did in XP with the <alt> <enter> key sequence.
