Is it open source?

I'm always suspicious of no-name web addons.

Or is this just a hack job of someone else's bar?

Ahh, looks almost trojan like.

"BLEEDING-EDGE Malware Conduit Connect Toolbar (Many report to be benign)"; flow: to_server,established; uricontent:"/iis2ebs.asp"; content:"User-Agent\: EI"; nocase; reference:url,www.conduit.com; classtype: trojan-activity; sid: 2003216; rev:1;)"

Since it's calling home, it's definitely on my evil list.

Well

In my mind there is no such thing as the best free webhost... they ALL have a catch in one way or another, how else would they be able to offer it free. So you can pretty much go with any free host that you are willing to accept the downfalls with.... advertising, limited bandwidth, spyware, etc etc

Good Luck in finding the one that fits your needs.

Free hosting

by santoslhelper - 9/14/07 4:38 PM In reply to: cuz by thechamp69

I don't recommend using a free host unless it is a site that doesn't need a lot of space or bandwidth and you aren't concerned about quality support or uptime. I recommend that you get a HostICan (paid hosting) web hosting plan for free by signing up through www.hostingplanrebates.com. You'll have to pay $65 up front but you'll get the money back in 8-12 weeks in the form of a rebate. If you don't have the money to put up then I guess you'll have to go with a free host option. It all really comes down to what you need for your site. Search around on Google and in forums. Best of luck to you!

SURELY THE BEST IN THE WORLD!

by asources - 7/12/08 12:09 AM In reply to: what is the best free website host on the net? by thechamp69

Don't bother with others that say they offer free hosting...this one is the best worldwide and with just a small ad on top......wwww.esmartstart.com - Superb even for big sites......FTP upload easy...Superb! I use it for more than 12 draft sites for clients. Go ahead and register....you won't find anything better .... Enjoy! Regards from Manila - Francisco
