Okay, so for the past few weeks I have been abandoning CNET TV mainly because I have not been able to view any videos. The pages load fine and the video player is all there but it is just black, no video and no sound. I haven't had the time to look into the cause of the problem and just as I was about to post a thread asking for help, I figured out the problem. The Adblock Plus extension has been blocking all the videos from playing on the CNET TV site. I disabled Adblock and the videos play fine. But I don't want to stop using Adblock so I have only disable it for the CNET site
I have Adblock Plus for a while so I don't know why it only just started blocking CNET TV videos recently...random. Anyway, I thought I'd let people know in case they were having the same issues.
Yep,
After a few videos when CNET TV tries to play an ad adblock interferes and thus the site seems to freeze. You should be able to add cnettv.com to your whitelist.

I added the following filters
@@cnettv.com
@@cnettv.cnet.com
and that got CNet.TV working with ABP enabled.
But, I am also having problems with Download.Com media player. Using FF3,Flash10,Vista the only way I can seem to get this to work is to use IETab (IE7 still using Flash9). Also works in Ubuntu,FF3,Flash9.
Off topic, but not sure where else to check/ask question.
