I'm leaning to a 37 inch Bravia (720 P)
Price is not too bad at $1050.
Going to mount it on the wall in the bedroom, (fathers day gift that Mom and use too).
Thoughts?
Gary
The Sony is nice but if you look at all the reviews on this website I would go for the Samsung LN 37A450 or even the LN 40A450. If you go to www.frys.com the 40in is on sale for $850.00.
WHAT A THOUGHTFUL GIFT. AT 37" YOU DON'T NEED 1080P, AND THAT SIZE
SHOULD BE ABOUT PERFECT FOR MOST BEDROOMS.
IF THE BEDROOM IS VERY LARGE, CONSIDER A 40" TO 42" MODEL.
BEST WISHES,
River.
Thanks gents....
Looked over the stock and ended up with the Sony above. They said it is a new model, I'll check C-Net to see what they say. You know, make my self feel better about a purchase I already made... lol
On sale for 1050. I'm sure with sharp shopping the price could be beat. With my 55 1080p set (bought in Oct last year) I researched until my fingers started to bleed from keyboarding; with this one, I just bought.
This will be the first TV we have hung on the wall. With the nearly 1 inch frame around the 37 inch screen the TV nicely fits on the wall between two windows. A larger set might not have fit or would look jammed in.
It was a Fathers Day gift and quite a surprise. Set a new high water mark for Fathers Days gifts for me. ![]()
Do you think the flowers I sent to her two weeks ago for no reason had anything to do with it? Of course I had to explain that the flowers were not because I did something wrong.... they were just because..
Gary
A VERY THOUGHTFUL GIFT, VERY NICE EVERYTHING WORKED OUT (including the size.)
HARD TO GO WRONG WITH A SONY AS A SURPRISE GIFT!
CONGRATS,
Riverledge.
