I'm kind of amazed. A lot of Houston folks have been on the show lately! But I know there's got to be a lot of us who listen but haven't called or wrote in... I want to meet you!
So who's up for a meet in Houston? We'd have to pick a place and time.
I'll be tracking this thread but also looking for emails to bolhouston at gmail.com.
Ooo! This will be exciting! I'll be meeting people from the internets!

Well, I'll be in Clear Lake much of the time but I can make the trip out there. Which day and when? My schedule is pretty open, but I'll be in town from ~4pm on Friday till ~1pm on Sunday.
As a back pocket alternative, I'd say Ra (sushi grill/lounge) or somewhere around the Museum district?

How would Saturday, the 28th, work for everyone? We could meet midday for lunch!

I'm in northwest Houston and would love to do a meetup because I rarely encounter other computer geeks in real life. I do not support drinking and the like, so I'd rather not meet up in a bar.
I suppose as far as tech goes I could describe myself as a hardcore Mac, Linux/Unix, and Internet nerd majoring in Computer Science and trying to become a computer teacher. For a better idea of what I'm like, just Google my username.

We've got a lot of pending commitments this month (waiting for other people to fix their schedules), but if we're free we'd like to come. Just need to know the where and when.
