I had an iBook G4 for about 3 years, sadly it died a couple months ago. I decided to wait until WWDC, today, to get a new macbook in case they were updated. Obviously, they weren't, however, last year apple announced new iMacs after WWDC in early August, and then new iPods in September, so should I still wait and see if a the macbook gets a redesign or just go with the current version?
It's very rare but give it one more week to see if anything happens post WWDC.
I heard either mid July or sometime in September. I've heard this from the macrumors forum, who heard it from friend, etc. They said mi July if they want to keep it within the time frame of their back to school promo, or in September after the promo is over. I myself am buying a MB later in the week. Can't wait for mine and good luck to you!!
There is a huge chance that there will be a new design in Q3 this year. I would most definately wait.
If you need a new one right now (like I do), then get it. But make sure you consider getting higher specs (more ram, larger HD, etc.) if you want to put the new OS Snow Leopard on it.If it's not an emergency, though, I'd wait...
