I am looking for a free autocad clone. Used to be you could get IntelliCAD for free. Now you have to pay for it or get limited editions. I don't like limitations. Is there a good free AutoCAD clone?
LinuxCAD. If you get the source and follow the build howto instructions in the makefile, it could be free. You're going to need a distribution that will have the tools ready. Something like Fedora or SuSE.
I don't know of any 2D/3D program that is free without limitations. If you're looking for a 2D package try HyCAD. If you want 2D/3D capability with rendering TotalCAD 2D/3D could be what you're looking for, designed by IMSI it retails in the UK for GBP9.99
Take a look at http://www.focusmm.co.uk/shop/Total-CAD-2D-3D-pr-154.html
there is QCAD which is free and Open Source
