Computer help: Removing the vmware menu bar

Removing the vmware menu bar

I am a new user to vmware.

I am using the linux distribution Fedora 9 in vmware player. When I expand vmware to full screen, there is the menu bar bar thing that covers the top panel of the linux distribution, so I cant see or access the items behind it.

Is there a way to be in full screen mode, remove the vmware panel from the top of the screen?
