Looks really cool, iphone like. I waited on buying the iphone hoping that version 2 would be better. But sure what to do now since iphone 2 is around the corner or wait and see how the android phone is and see what carries it is on.

There wont be 'an' android phone for you to wait for but a variety of phones using the Android mobile OS.

Android is a software stack that includes the operating system, software platform, apps, etc...

I presume that company A's phone using Android will be different from the one company B will sell just like an Acer laptop is different from a Lenovo laptop even though both use the same OS.
