Help buying a DSLR

I am planning on buying a DSLR camera. What are some good options for amateurs. I looked at rhe Nikon D60 and sony A200/A200W. What do you suggest from thses and what other good options do you recommend? Thanks for the help in dvance.

All the current DSLRs are very good and will do well for any amateur. Go find out which one feels best to you, and what options you like. There's not a one size fit all amateur DSLR. Also, think about future purchases. All future lens will have to be for that make of camera.

either Nikon D60 or Canon Rebel Xsi will serve you well. Try them and see what camera you really like. Good luck.
