I am using firefox 3 rc1, and I would like to add mouse gestures. The add-on's that I used in firefox 2 ( mouse gestures, fire gestures, all-in-one gestures) don't work with version 3.
Does anyone have a plug-in to get mouse gestures working in firefox 3?
If you're up for it, download the XPI, change the extension to .ZIP, edit the index.rdf file's min and max version values to 3.0, save the file, change the extension from .ZIP back to .XPI, and use Firefox to open/install the extension. (Generally not advisable, but fine in this particular case.)
If that's not up your alley, check out FireGestures until more extensions are updated.

Ok I did as you instructed me to do, but I dont know how to edit the ' index.rdf' . I tried opening it with firefox, and it did, but it would not allow me to edit the file?
What should I do?
Notepad, Wordpad, etc. will all do, letting you edit the file and save it. Remember to edit the copy inside the ZIP folder, not to extract the contents and edit those unless you intend on creating a new ZIP folder out of the modified contents.

You have to go to http://www.mousegestures.org/installation.html to install the add-on for Firefox 3.
